Transformers: Age of Extinction Teaser Trailer Analysis!

Wow. I did not see that coming! So this "ancient transformer" that Cade (Mark Wahlberg) found in Texas is actually Optimus Prime in his rusty G1-like Marmon cab truck. The govt guys that came to the Yeagers' house are sent by Harold Attinger (Kelsey Grammer) to track down Optimus. As for "Remember Chicago," why is it that the humans STILL FEAR the Autobots? Especially AFTER ALL THEY HAVE DONE TO SAVE EARTH in Dark of the Moon!? Thought that once the Autobots left Earth (almost) before the Decepticons would instead conquer the city of Chicago thus DISMISSING their beliefs that the Autobots are the reason the 'cons are still coming to Earth, the humans should at least THANK THEM for saving us! The Decepticon threat, including Megatron, is finally finished (or is it?)! Much like how the Autobots are TREATED LIKE TRUE HEROES in the G1 cartoon! Hence Optimus' line "Your leaders will now understand. Decepticons will never leave your planet alone"! Are these people BLIND!!!??? And did I happen to see Ratchet get GUNNED DOWN by human soldiers!? :'( So that pretty much explains why only Optimus and Bumblebee are confirmed to return in TF4. Does that mean that Sideswipe, Dino/Mirage and the Wrecker trio are ALL DEAD (I'd count Wheelie & Brains also if not in AOE), too!? Despite surviving the Chicago battle!? Aside from that, how are the newcomer Autobots (Hound, Crosshairs, and Drift) introduced in this film?

The YouTube comments just mentioned that the big ship that Lockdown is emerging from is Unicron. Mostly because of how it's sucking up everything (like ROTF Devastator) in the city of China. For real? But Unicron's supposed to be a planet-sized transformer. We'll have to wait and see until we'll know for sure if Unicron really is in this film.

What were those ships that Bumblebee and Crosshairs (the green Chevy Corvette bot) are fighting against? Are they Decepticons (Lockdown's? Attinger's?) or evil humans? Please let the Decepticons be the main bad guys! No one's probably going to care for the humans that now apparently create transformers being the major enemies in Age of Extinction! And seeing what Lockdown is capable of, 'cause of his head transforming into a gun to shoot at Optimus (hopefully, NOT at his spark!), I hope he's like a TOTAL BADASS and completely DETHRONE DOTM's Sentinel Prime to shut those guys up for "liking" him more than Megatron!

The best part, however, in this teaser was when Optimus takes down the T-Rex-like Dinobot Grimlock! This must be how he was able to get Grimlock tamed by riding on top of him, as seen in the Super Bowl trailer! Just so awesome!!!

I do hope that it lives up to my expectations and proves to be TRULY BETTER THAN TF 2 & 3! The new Decepticons, like Galvatron (Megatron from TF 1-3?) and Lockdown, had better not disappoint the fans and show that they are not to be defeated so easily! But this seems to be taking a different route from the previous 3 TF films even when Michael Bay is still at the helm. Looking forward to see how this might pull it off. But PLEASE let the Autobots and/or Decepticons have MORE SCENES (like the Minions in last summer's Despicable Me 2) than the humans! It'd be nice to see more of the robots, as they are anything BUT "cheap visual props"! Regardless of how "expensive" their budget was! If this movie's going to be "more serious like the DOTM climax," it had better not contain some unfunny humor despite what Michael Bay "promised" us before! Do not make the same mistake like you did with Revenge of the Fallen (a Razzie Award-winner for Worst Movie of 2009; Rotten Tomatoes critics rated it 20% positive)! I did not come this close waiting for an anticipated Transformers movie sequel just to see it get awfully criticized like always! But at least now I'm finally back to enjoy more of the TF movie action since 2011!
